Jim Kelleher was instrumental in bringing the Dixie Diehards together as a functioning Dixieland Jazz Band.

Jim also composed several tunes performed by the band.

Jim's biggest fan, his wife Ellie.

Jim's knowledge of music coupled with his extensive background as a teacher, made him a natural for our first music director.

Jim's last performance with the Dixie Diehards was fittingly on July 4, 2010 at Berkeley, MA at their Annual 4th Celebration.  Jim & Ellie have retired to Maryland to be closer to their grand children.
